I do, a saltwater pool is a chlorine pool, the generator creates chlorine

from the salt in the water. Chlorine/salt water is really the easiest with the lowest cost to maintain a crystal clear pool . The salt isn't ocean salty, the ppm of salt is more like saline and has a nice feel to the skin.

My pool is super easy to maintain and crystal clear by following what I learned on troublefreepool. A must buy is a good test kit, I recommend the one from http://tftestkits.net

Basically all I use is store bought bleach to add chlorine for high demands (high bather load and rains) and muratic acid from lowes to lower PH, salt generators will creep your PH up. If it is concrete you'll also need to maintain the calcium levels which can be done with certain ice melting products for much cheaper than pool branded chemicals.

Avoid pool store advice at all costs or it will cost you a fortune for needless chemicals and your pool will be a mess. Learn from here for a simple way to maintain and enjoy the pool:
